Hi Hammerhead Parents, 

Our swim meets will go live at 8am this morning. Please 1) sign your swimmer up for the meets they can attend and 2) sign up to volunteer at the swim meets by May 31 to ensure your swimmer is eligible to participate. 

• Friendly reminder, due to our team's size, swimmers are guaranteed to swim the freestyle event and a relay at swim meets.
• Only swimmers who are registered for the swim meet will be entered in the swim meet - no late entries will be accepted. 

Volunteer Information:

We have opened numerous volunteer slots and need your help to ensure swim meets and other events run smoothly! Please log in to Swimtopia and register for your families 8 volunteer point minimum for the season. Doing this by May 31 ensures your swimmer(s) are eligible to swim in our competition meets (June 6,13, 16, 20)! 

We recommend using the SwimTopia website to register (vs app) as it allows you to read volunteer position job descriptors as well as to better see time window commitments for a particular role. If you are unsure if you can commit to a volunteer slot we ask that you kindly pass and only register for items you can commit too. 

For the 2022 season our team has a need for swim meet Judges. If you are interested in volunteering at a swim meet in a Judge position (place, stroke, touch turn) Wed May 11 is the last day to register for the Judge Training on May 15. This training is administered by our swim league and is only scheduled to be offered this one time during the summer season. 

Again, thank you for your willingness to volunteer! It takes a village to run to swim meets and team events. The Hammerheads have been fortunate to never have to stop a swim meet or cancel and event due to lack of parent volunteers. We appreciate your help in ensuring this continues during the 2022 season!
